Over-valued real estate #21 - Austin, Texas

Austin's real estate market suffered from a very nasty correction in the mid-1980s. The more recent real estate bubble seems to have peaked somewhat earlier here than in other markets. Prices flattened out in 2000, and prices remained flat until this year. However, prices have recently picked up. Will Austin be a late comer to the real estate appreciation party. For the sake of homeowners there, let us hope not........
